Itinerario

01

Arrival in Lima - City tour

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, you will be welcomed by our staff and transferred to your selected hotel.

In the afternoon, you will visit downtown Lima, including Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Main Square, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, and old streets with colonial mansions and Moorish-style balconies. You will also visit Santo Domingo, the largest monumental complex of colonial art in America.

Overnight in Lima.

Lima - Cusco - City tour & Nearby Ruins

Arrival, reception, and transfer to the hotel. Free time to acclimatize.

In the afternoon, guided city tour of Cusco: Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral with its colonial architecture and valuable Cusco School art collection, and Koricancha or “Temple of the Sun,” which still preserves its original Inca walls.

Then, visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial Inca fortress with massive stone blocks; Qenqo, a ceremonial archaeological complex; Tambomachay, known as the “Baths of the Inca,” dedicated to water worship; and Puca Pucara, a military construction known as the “Red Fortress.”

Overnight in Cusco.

Cusco - Sacred Valley

Departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the town of Pisac, where you will observe local handicraft markets, traditional streets, and wood-fired ovens for bread and empanadas, as well as its archaeological complex. Lunch included.

Continue along the Urubamba River, enjoying beautiful landscapes, towards Ollantaytambo, an Inca town still inhabited today. Visit its main stone structures, including the Temple of the Sun, composed of six massive granite monoliths.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco

In the morning, departure by train to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will take a bus for a 30-minute ride up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

Guided tour for approximately 2 hours, visiting the areas corresponding to the assigned circuit (subject to availability; early confirmation is recommended).

After the guided tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes. At the scheduled time, transfer to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo or Cusco (subject to availability). Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Cusco.

Cusco - Puno - Tourist Bus

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the bus station to begin the journey to Puno by tourist bus or train.

If traveling by tourist bus, four excursions will be included: visit the Pucará Archaeological Museum, La Raya Pass (4,335 m.a.s.l.), buffet lunch, the Inca Temple of Raqchi, and Andahuaylillas Church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America.”

Arrival, reception, and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Puno.

Uros & Taquile Islands

Visit the Floating Islands of the Uros, where inhabitants preserve ancestral traditions such as fishing and hunting.

Continue to Taquile Island, known for its scenic and cultural richness. Its inhabitants mainly engage in agriculture, handicrafts, and fishing, maintaining ancient Inca traditions, rituals, and social organization. Lunch included.

Overnight in Puno.

Puno - Sillustani - Lima

At the scheduled time, transfer to Juliaca airport. En route, visit the Sillustani Archaeological Complex, known for its Chullpas—cylindrical funerary towers of volcanic stone associated with the Kolla culture.

The nearby Umayo Lagoon enhances the scenic beauty and offers opportunities to observe local bird species.

Flight to Lima. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
