Arrival – Cusco – City & Nearby Ruins
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred in private transportation to your selected hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Imperial City of Cusco: the Main Square, the Cathedral—renowned for its colonial architecture and valuable Cusco School art collection—and Koricancha or “Temple of the Sun,” which still preserves its original Inca walls once covered in gold.
You will then visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive Inca ceremonial fortress built with massive stone blocks; Qenqo, a ceremonial archaeological complex; Tambomachay, known as the “Baths of the Inca,” dedicated to water worship; and Puca Pucara, a military construction known as the “Red Fortress.”

Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas (B, L)
Departure to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas.” Visit the town of Pisac, where you can explore local markets, shop for handicrafts, stroll through traditional streets, and visit its archaeological site. Lunch included.
Continue along the Urubamba River, enjoying scenic landscapes on the way to Ollantaytambo, an Inca town still inhabited today. Explore its main stone constructions, including the Temple of the Sun, formed by six massive granite monoliths.
Overnight in the Sacred Valley.
Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco (B, L)
In the morning, transfer to the train station to begin your journey to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, take a 30-minute bus ride to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, visiting the main sectors (subject to availability; advance booking is recommended). After the tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes.
At the scheduled time, transfer to the train station for your return journey to Ollantaytambo or Cusco (subject to availability). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Cusco – Maras & Moray (B)
Departure towards Moray, considered an Inca agricultural laboratory due to its circular terraces used for crop experimentation.
Continue to Maras to visit the impressive salt mines, known as the “white gold of the Andes,” still naturally exploited through a system of salt ponds by local communities.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport or bus station to continue your journey.
Ideal Travel Season
Traveling during the low season, from December to March in the Andean region, is recommended due to more competitive rates on accommodations and flights, as well as a more relaxed experience at the main tourist attractions.
