1. Acceptance of Terms
Accessing, browsing, and/or contracting the services offered by LAT PERU S.A.C., whether through its website, email, social media, or any other communication channel, implies that the user declares having read, understood, and expressly, freely, and knowingly accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If the user does not agree with any of these terms, they must refrain from using the services offered.
2. Service Provider Identification
LAT PERU S.A.C. is a company dedicated to the intermediation, organization, and commercialization of tourism services, acting in coordination with third-party providers such as hotels, tour operators, transport companies, restaurants, among others.
3. Scope of Services
LAT PERU S.A.C. primarily acts as an intermediary between the client and the final tourism service providers and does not directly provide most of the services offered. In this regard, the company facilitates the management, coordination, and reservation of such services, which are executed by responsible third parties.
Tourism services may be provided on a private basis, when they are exclusive to the client, or on a shared basis, when they are carried out together with other passengers. The applicable modality will depend on the option selected at the time of booking.
The specific details of each contracted service, including conditions, schedules, and characteristics, will be provided in the quotation or itinerary delivered to the client.
4. Included Services
Only those services expressly detailed in the itinerary or quotation provided to the client shall be considered included. These may include, depending on the contracted program, tourist transportation, accommodation, meals, tour guide services, and entrance fees to tourist attractions.
Any service not clearly specified in the quotation or itinerary shall be considered not included and may generate additional costs to be borne by the client.
5. Excluded Services
Unless expressly stated in the quotation or itinerary, domestic or international airfare, travel insurance, personal expenses, and beverages not specified in the contracted program are not included. Additional hotel services such as laundry, minibar, telephone calls, or other extra consumptions are also not included.
Likewise, tips, penalties for changes or modifications, and costs arising from changes to already issued services are not included. Any service not expressly mentioned as included shall be considered excluded and must be assumed by the client.
6. Rates, Currency, and Availability
Published rates are indicative and may be shown as “from” prices; therefore, they are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices may change without prior notice due to factors such as high or low seasons, exchange rate fluctuations, supplier policies, and availability.
If payment is made in a different currency, the exchange rate in effect on the transaction date will apply. A quotation does not constitute a confirmed reservation until expressly confirmed in writing by LAT PERU S.A.C.
7. General Service Conditions
The order of excursions may vary due to operational, weather, or social reasons, without affecting the quality or overall fulfillment of the contracted service. Schedules are indicative and will be reconfirmed at the destination.
Passengers must arrive on time at the designated meeting points and schedules for each service. In case of no-show, the service will be considered used, and the total cost will be forfeited without the right to a refund.
8. Children and Infants Policy
Minors traveling without one or both parents must present a notarized authorization signed by their parents or legal guardians, in accordance with applicable regulations. It is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure all required documentation is in order.
A maximum of two (2) children per room is allowed when accompanied by two (2) adults; however, this condition may vary according to hotel or provider policies. Infants (0–2 years old) are free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat or bed, although additional charges may apply for transportation, entrance fees, or other services required by providers.
Children (3–9 years old) may access special rates, subject to the specific conditions of each program, hotel, or tour operator. In all cases, parents or guardians are responsible for the care, behavior, and well-being of the minor throughout the trip.
9. Reservations and Documentation
Passengers must carry valid identification documents in good condition throughout the trip. Peruvian passengers must present a valid National Identity Document (DNI), while foreign passengers must present their original passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months at the time of travel.
Foreign passengers wishing to access benefits such as VAT exemption on accommodation services must present their original passport and comply with Peruvian regulations, including a stay not exceeding 60 days. Passengers from MERCOSUR member and associated countries may present their national identity document, provided it is valid for entry into Peru.
For minors, proper documentation is mandatory, including notarized authorizations when traveling without one or both parents. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to have all required documentation for travel, such as visas, special permits, vaccination certificates, or other requirements.
LAT PERU S.A.C. is not responsible for inconveniences, delays, losses, or cancellations resulting from missing, expired, or irregular documentation.
10. Modifications and Cancellations
Any request for service modification is subject to availability and may incur additional penalties according to each provider’s policies.
Cancellations made less than fifteen (15) days prior to the service start date will be subject to charges as determined by the provider. Services already purchased, such as entrance tickets or train tickets, are non-refundable. In case of no-show, 100% of the service cost will be charged without the right to a refund.
11. Refunds
Refund requests will only be evaluated in cases of duly justified force majeure, such as strikes, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other situations beyond the control of the passenger and LAT PERU S.A.C.
If a refund applies, the amount reimbursed will not necessarily be the total paid, as administrative costs, non-refundable services, and supplier penalties will be deducted. The final amount will depend on the specific conditions of each contracted service.
12. Liability
LAT PERU S.A.C. acts as an intermediary between the client and tourism service providers such as hotels, airlines, and tour operators, handling the management, coordination, and reservation of contracted services.
While LAT PERU S.A.C. undertakes the necessary efforts to ensure proper service delivery, it is not directly responsible for their execution and therefore assumes no liability for failures, delays, cancellations, or deficiencies attributable to providers.
However, the company will provide necessary support to assist clients in addressing any issues with providers. LAT PERU S.A.C. is also not responsible for force majeure events such as natural disasters, social conflicts, pandemics, or government restrictions.
In such cases, any refund or compensation will be subject to the policies of the involved providers.
